WATCH | Steve 'Superman' Smith defies gravity to dismiss Rahul

Steve Smith produced a moment of sheer brilliance on the 3rd day of the second Test between India and Australia to dismiss India's KL Rahul off the bowling of Steve O’Keefe. Smith flew to his right to take a superb catch in the slip as India stumbled to 84/2 in the 25th over of their second innings.

KL Rahul and Cheteshwar Pujara were going along nicely in the middle before O’Keefe provided a big breakthrough for Australia. The wicket was down to Smith’s brilliance in the field, though. Bowling round the wicket, O’Keefe floated the ball outside the off stump, tempting Rahul to drive it. The Indian opener, who was batting at 51, obliged, but the ball spun sharply and took the outside edge of his bat.

Smith, who was standing at first slip, flew to his right, almost parallel to the ground to grab the ball with his right hand and complete a stunning catch. The Australian skipper had dropped one earlier in the innings, but more than made up for that miss with this sensational effort.
