Shane Warne keeps his word on wearing an England jersey

Shane Warne wore an England jersey for a day and posted his photograph on Twitter, after losing a bet. Earlier, Warne challenged Ganguly that he would have to wear an Australian jersey if Australia won their match against England, and likewise, Warne would wear an England jersey if England won.

Legendary leg-spinner Shane Warne lost a bet to former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly and the Australian fulfilled his commitment by wearing the jersey of England. He tweeted his image on Twitter as a proof.

ICC also joined in the fun by posting a video with Warne and Ganguly sharing the spotlight. The vidoe has Warne describing the bet and congratulating Sourav for his win.

While Australia vs England was promoted as one of the most awaited matches of the Champions Trophy tournament, the match itself was a bit of a disappointment as England's batting firepower easily chased down the XXX target set by the Aussies in a partially rain-affected match. More importantly, the loss meant that the current World Champions were kicked out off the Champions Trophy in the group stages itself; something that many cricket pundits, including Warne, didn't expect.
