Aakash Chopra and Dean Jones were involved in a Twitter exchange after the Indian cricketer-turned-commentator said he expects Bangladesh to be more competitive than Australia in Indian conditions. Former Australia batsman Jones cautioned him that India would need to be wary of the Baggy Green.

Bangladesh didn't have a great start to their first Test on Indian soil as Murali Vijay and skipper Virat Kohli hit centuries and Cheteshwar Pujara struck a stylish fifty.

On the opening day of the Test on Thursday, a fan tweeted, “Count Bangladesh out at your own peril. This could be more exciting than we all might think. What's your take? @cricketaakash #IndvsBan

Chopra, who is doing commentary, replied with, “I'm expecting Bangladesh to be more competitive than Australia in these conditions. If this explains @StarSportsIndia”

Jones cautioned India to be wary of Australia who tour India for four-Test series starting later this month. "Be afraid Aakash... be very afraid...," he tweeted.
